Opasquia’s Gardens

Image may contain: plant, flower, tree, outdoor and nature

Our Gardening Club has been working hard and our gardens are looking beautiful!

We are looking for some interested families who would be willing to check on our gardens over the summer.

Here’s what would be involved:

go once or twice during the week to

-pull weeds

-pick up any garbage

-turn the compost barrels.

-possibly water plants

If you are interested, please comment below, or send me a message with the week you would be willing to look after.

Thank you!

Help your child avoid the summer slide

Summer is here and that means we will be travelling, swimming at the beach and enjoying some free time playing and relaxing. However, it’s so important for students to continue reading and listening to someone read over the next 2 months.
Our students have worked hard this year to build up their reading stamina and practice their reading strategies. Let’s not lose them!
There are two awesome ways to help your child this summer.
1.The Pas Regional Library has a read-a-thon happening right now! Your child can earn money to shop for books at the library on July 2nd

2. Opasquia Reading Challenge – students can complete their challenge over the summer and return their completed form to school in the Fall to receive a reading prize. Grade 5 students going to Scott Bateman can return their forms to Mrs. Yellowega and she will make sure to contact us for your prize!

Happy Reading!
